Engelhart Continues March to Tour Mod Crown

The cars and stars of the NASCAR iRacing.com Tour Modified Series rolled into the virtual USA International Speedway this past week for Round Seven of the 2011 Season 2 campaign. As has been the story for most of this season, point leader Herbert Engelhart continued his stranglehold of the series by once again coming out on top amongst his sim racing peers by taking the top spot in Week Seven at the popular Lakeland, Florida track. Engelhart competed in three races and came-away with the checkered flag in each of those online racing events. Week Seven in the Thrustmaster Mustang Challenge saw the sim racers tackling the 14-turn, 4-mile monster known as Road America located in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.  During the week a total of 458 sim racers took to the track over the seven days of online racing, but it was once again Dave Gelink (Benelux) who took home the most championship points for the week for the third consecutive race.
